As the No. 1 seed though, he has been as good as advertised, only losing one set in his first four matches.

Coming into this tournament as the No. 3 overall seed, Medvedev has enjoyed a strong run this tournament as well. While he did falter initially in his fourth-round matchup against Alex de Minaur, he was able to win three sets in a row after losing the initial frame. That said, his potential semifinal showdown against Alcaraz could make the case for the matchup of the tournament if both play to their potential.
