One of the most accomplished fighters in Bellator, Amosov is a skilled combatant who can win fights in a number of ways. The Ukrainian athlete is currently rated as the second-best fighter in the Bellator men’s pound-for-pound rankings and is a decorated combatant as a four-time world sambo champion. He is the first Ukrainian-born champion in Bellator MMA history and currently holds a record of 27-0 in MMA. With a varied total of wins by knockout (nine), submission (10), and decision (eight), Amosov can win bouts in a variety of ways. 

Fighter Spotlight: Jason Jackson

Known as “The Ass-Kicking Machine,” Jackson is a fantastic MMA fighter who has been competing in the sport since 2012. Since losing to Ed Ruth at Bellator 231, he has been on a tear, winning six fights in a row via unanimous decision. This includes wins over the likes of Benson Henderson, Neiman Gracie, and most recently, Douglas Lima. Jackson has won the welterweight title in three other promotions as well, including Titan Fighting Championship, Legacy Fighting Alliance, and Victory Fighting Championships. With a professional record of 16-4, this will be his biggest fight to date in Bellator. 

Prediction: A fantastic matchup, take Amosov to win here given his extensive body of work and torrid winning streak.

Fighter Spotlight: Sergio Pitts

The reigning Bellator Bantamweight Champion, Pittis is a sensational fighter with notable victories over the likes of Patricio Pitbull, Juan Archuleta, and Brandon Moreno. Known as “The Phenom,” he has an overall record of 23-5 and has notched 15 career decision victories in his professional MMA tenure. With two successful title defenses to date, Pittis has done a sensational job of fighting all kinds of fighters to this point. This includes an incredible bout against Kyoji Horiguchi at Bellator 272 which was lauded by multiple outlets as a fight of the year bout which ended with a spinning backfist knockout win for Pittis. 

Fighter Spotlight: Patchy Mix

Entering this fight, Mix has been a stellar submission specialist to date with 12 career submission victories out of his 18 MMA wins. As noted above, Mix won the Bellator Bantamweight World Grand Prix when he knocked out Raufeon Stots with a knee shot at Bellator 295. Moreover, since losing to Juan Archuleta at Bellator 246, he has been on a tear, winning five fights in a row including victories over Stots, Magomed Magomedov, and also Kyoji Horiguhchi. Mix is also ranked within the top ten of the Bellator men’s pound-for-pound rankings.
