With the NFL season wrapping up last month, it was certainly a banner Super Bowl for television advertisers to sportsbooks across the globe. As noted in the same article, Williams noted prior to the Super Bowl, “that trend has since reversed itself by a significant margin, with 77% of both bets and dollar volume now predicting a Chiefs win.”

In addition to those astonishing stats above, it was the most-watched United States broadcast since the Apollo 11 moon landing. Moreover, some have attributed this to the “Taylor Swift effect” thanks to her relationship with Kelce having a significant impact on the already hyper-popular NFL. Moreover, the halftime show, headlined by Usher, peaked at an astounding 129.3 million viewers. While the crowd itself (a sellout of 61,629) was technically the smallest in Super Bowl history (thanks to the seating capacity of Allegiant Stadium), this event was clearly a roaring success for the NFL and all of the peripheral markets attached to it.
