The 66th annual Grammy awards are set to take place in Los Angeles at the start of February, and Taylor Swift is looking to make history once again.
She is once again nominated for Album of the Year, and is looking to extend her record as the artist with the most wins in this category. But she has some tough competition with the likes of Lana Del Rey, Miley Cyrus and Boygenius nominated too.

By far and away the favorite to win the award, Swift has had a magical 12 months in her career.

But without the committee at the Grammy’s these days, there is more scope for surprises just like 2023 when Harry Styles beat Beyonce and Adele to the award in this category.
However with 12 previous victories in these awards over her career, and three in this category she knows exactly how to create a Grammy-winning hit and while there isn’t much value in betting on her to do it again, that’s because it’s the most likely outcome. It would be a real shock if she didn’t get the win.

Lana Del Rey – Did You Know There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd
A super popular artist and a great album, Del Rey has previously been nominated for a Grammy on six different occasions and failed to win in any category.
The album went to number one in the UK immediately and hit number three in the US Billboard charts, and has been the best-performing album of her career so far when it comes to streaming numbers.
While Swift is a huge favorite, if she doesn’t get the win then Del Rey could well come out with her first success in the biggest category going. With that said, there are more acts that rank higher in most polls so the consensus is that she’s going home empty-handed once again.

SZA – SOS
The Grammys have set SZA up to take the crown this year, and if Swift Releasing “SOS” in the final moments of 2022, SZA put out hits like “Snooze” and the immense “Kill Bill” that set her up for billions of streams and success for 2023.
With Swift nominated for so many awards she’ll go home happy regardless, but SZA has been nominated for more awards than anyone else this year and it would be a shame if she failed to win the big ones.
If Swift isn’t going to win the Album of the Year award this year, then SZA is no doubt the second favourite and it could be the case that the new Queen of RnB gets the nod while Swift cleans up in multiple other categories.

Boygenius – The Record
The supergroup made up of Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus is nominated this year for the first time, but Bridgers is a previous four-time Grammy nominee as a solo artist.
The album peaked at number one in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland and in the US folk and rock albums charts, while it hit number four on the US Billboard 200 charts.
With seven nominations in this year’s awards they’re set for the biggest year of their career as a band, and the way this record landed has seen their popularity soar through the roof over the last 12 months.
A lot of different things will have to go their way for the award to end up in their hands though with SZA and Taylor Swift having such a huge 2023, however while it would be a real shock to the mainstream anyone who has listened to the album won’t have too much to complain about.
At +1000 there is far more value in backing SZA ahead of Swift, so it’s probably best to avoid this bet. But don’t be surprised if it ends up being a winner.
